Earl Old Person

Blackfeet leader

Earl Old Person (April 13, 1929 – October 13, 2021)[1] was an American Native political leader. He was Chief of the Blackfeet tribe in Montana.[2]

In 1993, Old Person delivered the first State of the Indian Nation address to the Montana Legislature.[3]

On October 13, 2021, Old Person died from cancer in Browning, Montana at the age of 92.[4][5]
