Emmy Eerdmans

Dutch painter, draughtswoman and sculptor

Emmy Eerdmans (30 August 1931 – 15 December 2024) was a Dutch painter, draughtsman and sculptor.[1]

Eerdmans was a member of among others Arti et Amicitiae. She won in 1957 the Cohen Gosschalkprijs [nl] and she won the the 1957 Prix de Rome in the painting category. In the sculpture category she finished second.[2][3]

Eerdmans married to bronze caster, sculptor and graphic artist Ben Joosten [nl]. She died on 15 December 2024, at the age of 93.[4]
