Erin Brockovich is a 2000 American docudrama movie. It stars Julia Roberts as environmental activist Erin Brockovich. It is about Brockovich's legal actions in California against companies there in the 1990s. This movie was nominated for several Academy Awards. Roberts won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for her role. In the movie, the real Erin Brockovich has a cameo appearance as a waitress named Julia.[1]
