Evan Jenkins
Evan Hollin Jenkins (born September 12 1960) is an American politician. In 2015, he became the U.S. Representative for West Virginia's 3rd congressional district. Jenkins was state senator from 2002 to 2014. He is a member of the Republican Party.

He was born in Huntington, West Virginia. Jenkins studied at University of Florida and at Samford University. Jenkins served in the West Virginia House of Delegates.
In August 2017, Jenkins announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate.[1] He lost the Republican nomination to Patrick Morrisey.
On September 30, 2018, Jenkins resigned from Congress after having been appointed Justice of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia by West Virginia Governor Jim Justice.[2] Jenkins was then elected on November 6, 2018, to fill a remaining six-year term as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia due to the resignation of Robin Davis.[3]
