The Fearsome Five is a team of supervillains from the DC Comics universe. They mostly battle the Teen Titans and the Outsiders. Their original members included Doctor Light, Gizmo, Mammoth, Psimon, and Shimmer. They are very dangerous, although heavily prone to fighting amongst themselves and betraying each other. The Fearsome Five were created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez. They first appeared in The New Teen Titans #3 (1981).
