Francisco Raúl Villalobos Padilla
Mexican Catholic bishop (1921–2022)
Francisco Raúl Villalobos Padilla (1 February 1921 – 3 February 2022) was a Mexican Roman Catholic prelate. Villalobos Padilla was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He became a priest in 1949. He was made auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saltillo in 1971. He was appointed bishop of Saltillo on October 4, 1975. He retired in 1999.
Villalobos Padilla turned 100 in 2021.[1] He died from COVID-19 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on 3 February 2022, two days after his 101st birthday.[2][3]
