Frederico Campos

Frederico Carlos Soares Campos (11 April 1927 – 1 March 2021) was a Brazilian politician.^[1] He twice was Mayor of Cuiabá from 1966 until 1969 and again from 1989 to 1992. He also was the 45th Governor of Mato Grosso from 1979 until 1983. Campos was a member of the Liberal Front Party and Brazilian Labour Party.

Campos was born in Cuiabá. He died from COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil in Cuiabá on 1 March 2021 at the age of 93.^[2]
