Fritillaria pallidiflora

species of plant

The Pale-flowered Lily, Turanian fritillary or the Uyghür Aigul (Fritillaria pallidiflora) is an Asian species of bulbous flowering plant in the lily family Liliaceae, native to East Turkestan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.[1][2]

The Latin specific epithet pallidiflora means “pale flowered”.[3] Although the common name frequently used is Siberian fritillary, a misnomer because the species does not grow in the wild in Siberia.
