Gélise
The Gélise is a river of south-western France that flows through the Gers, Landes and Lot-et-Garonne departments, in the Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions. It is a left tributary of the Baïse river.

Geography
changeThe Gélise has a length of 92 km (57.2 mi), and a drainage basin with an area of approximately 2,859 km2 (1,104 sq mi).[1]
Its average yearly discharge (volume of water which passes through a section of the river per unit of time) is 4.72 cubic metres per second at Mézin.[2]
Course
changeThe Gélise starts in the place known as Cahuzères in the commune of Lupiac, Gers department, at an elevation of about 215 m (705 ft).[3] It flows to the northwest and then, after Castelnau-d'Auzan, turns to the northeast.
It joins the Baïse on its left bank at Lavardac, at about 40 m (131 ft) of altitude.[4]
