Galen Young

American/Canadian basketball player (1975-2021)

Leslie Galen Young[1] (October 16, 1975 – June 5, 2021) was an American professional basketball player. He played two years of Division I college basketball for the Charlotte 49ers.

He played professionally in the United States and abroad for 13 years, winning a CBA championship in 2007.

Young was killed while inside his mother's house in Memphis, Tennessee on June 5, 2021 after a car crashed into the house and killed him.[1] He was 45 years old.[1]
