Gangsta Boo
American rapper (1979–2023)
Lola Chantrelle Mitchell (August 7, 1979 – January 1, 2023), better known as Gangsta Boo, was an American rapper. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the second female member (after K-9) of the Memphis-based hip hop group Three 6 Mafia. She left the group and label in 2002. Her three solo albums were Enquiring Minds (1998), Both Worlds *69 (2001) and Enquiring Minds II: The Soap Opera (2003). She worked with artists including La Chat, Yelawolf, Eminem, Latto, GloRilla and Run the Jewels.
Gangsta Boo died in Memphis on January 1, 2023, at the age of 43.[1]
