Gerald McEntee

American union official (1935–2022)

Gerald William McEntee (January 11, 1935 – July 10, 2022)[1] was an American trade union official.[2] He was president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) from 1981 to 2012.

McEntee died on July 10, 2022, at his home in Naples, Florida from problems caused by a stroke, aged 87.[3][4]
