Ghostery is a free and open-source browser extension and mobile browser application. It provides tracking and ad-blocking services. Ghostery is currently owned by German company Cliqz GmbH, previously owned by Evidon, Inc.[1][2]

Ghostery “blocks ads, cookies, popups & other trackers.” This allows the user to engage in a more private browser experience, also giving fast internet.[3]

As of 2024, Ghostery is currently available on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox for Android.[3]
