Giuseppe Giacosa
Italian librettist, poet and writer (1847-1906)
Giuseppe Giacosa (21 October 1847 – 1 September 1906) was an Italian writer. He wrote the libretti (stories and words) with Luigi Illica for Puccini's operas La bohème, Tosca, and Madama Butterfly. He was born in Turin, Italy.
