Goeree-Overflakkee
island and municipality in the Netherlands
Goeree-Overflakkee is an island and municipality of the province of South Holland, the Netherlands. In 2016 the municipality had about 48,000 people. The municipality covers an area of 422 km², the island an area of 262 km².
It was created on 1 January 2013, Goeree-Overflakkee has also been a municipality. It is made from the former municipalities of Goedereede, Dirksland, Middelharnis, and Oostflakkee.
