Goldfrapp

English electronic music duo

Goldfrapp is an English electronic music duo, Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory. They found in 1999. They have released six studio albums. In 2005 their single "Ooh La La" reached number four in the UK Singles Chart.

In 1999 Goldfrapp were signed to Mute Records. In 2000 they released their first album Felt Mountain. Pitchfork gave the album a score of 8 out of 10.[3] It reached number 57 in the UK Albums Chart. In 2003 Goldfrapp's second album Black Cherry was released. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number 19.[4] In 2005 their third album Supernature was released. The album went straight to number two in the UK. It was nominated for Best Electronic/Dance Album at the 2007 Grammy Awards. In Februar 2012 Goldfrapp released The Singles. The album has twelve of Goldfrapp's singles from earlier albums and two new songs. In 2014 Goldfrapp will nine concerts in the UK.[5]

They have been on hiatus since 2022.[1][2]
