Arizona attorney general

Grant Woods (May 19, 1954 – October 23, 2021) was an American attorney and politician. He was the Attorney General of Arizona from 1991 until 1999. He was born in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Woods was a moderate Republican who was John McCain's chief of staff when he was a congressman. In 2018, he became a Democrat.

Woods supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election and Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Woods died on October 23, 2021 at a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona from a heart attack, aged 67.[1][2]
