Greater Toronto Area

the largest metropolitan area in Canada, centered on Toronto, Ontario

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is the metropolitan area that includes Toronto and the surrounding cities such as Mississauga, Brampton, Markham and Vaughan. It is the most populous metropolitan area in Canada.[1][2][3]
