Grøtsundet is a waterway in Norway in between Tromsø and Karlsøy. It is 25 kilometres (16 mi) long and separates two islands from the mainland. It is around 4.5 kilometres (2.8 mi) wide. Ships use this waterway to reach the city of Tromsø which is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) away.[1][2]
