Guido Imbens

Dutch American econometrician

Guido Wilhelmus Imbens (born September 3, 1963) is a Dutch-American economist. He is Professor of Economics at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He taught at Harvard University, UCLA, and UC Berkeley.[1] He was the editor of Econometrica beginning in 2019.[2]

Imbens was awarded half of the 2021 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences with Joshua Angrist "for their works to the analysis of causal relationships", with David Card awarded the other half.[3]
