Gustav Vigeland

Norwegian sculptor

Gustav Vigeland (11 April 1869 – 12 March 1943) was an Norwegian sculptor. He is known for his sculpture in Frogner Park.[1][2] He designed the Nobel Peace Prize medal.[3]

Adolf Gustav Thorsen was born in Halse og Harkmark,[4] which used to be a municipality in Mandal, Norway.[5]
