Harald Krüger

German businessperson and former CEO of BMW

Harald Krüger (born 13 October 1965)[1] is the current chairman of the board of management (CEO) of BMW.[2][3][4]

Biography

Krüger grew up in the city of Braunschweig, Germany. He got a mechanical engineering degree from Braunschweig University of Technology. Kruger spent a year on research at the German Aerospace Center. He joined BMW in 1992 to work on Technical Planning and Production. He became the CEO on May 13, 2015, succeeding Norbert Reithofer.[5][6]

He was paid €8,134,963 ($9,676,131.74) in 2016.[5]
