Helen Gallagher
American performance artist
Helen Gallagher (July 19, 1926 – November 24, 2024) was an American actress, dancer, and singer. During her career, she won a Daytime Emmy Awards, two Tony Awards, and a Drama Desk Award. Gallagher was born in New York City. Her career began in 1944. She was known for her roles in the musicals Hazel Flagg and Pal Joey. She also played Maeve Ryan in the soap opera Ryan's Hope.
Gallagher died on November 24, 2024 at a hospital in New York City at the age of 98.[1][2]
