Herbert L. Wilkerson

American major general

Herbert Lloyd Wilkerson (October 31, 1919 – October 11, 2021) was a United States Marine Corps major general.[1] He was the commander of the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune during the 1970s. He served during three wars: World War II, Korean War and the Vietnam War.

Wilkerson died on the morning of October 11, 2021 in Greensboro, North Carolina at the age of 101.[2]
