Hunky Dory is the fourth studio album by David Bowie and was released on 17 December, 1971 through RCA Records. It went to number 3 in the United Kingdom, number 15 in Finland and number 39 in Australia. In 2016 following Bowie's death it went to number 16 in Sweden, number 26 in Denmark, number 30 in New Zealand and number 57 in the United States.
