In 1980, Anne Murray covered I'm Happy Just to Dance with You for her 15th studio album Somebody's Waiting. It went number 64 in the United States and number 74 in Canada but topped the adult contemporary charts in Canada and went to number 13 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts.
