Ian Smith (actor)

Ian Smith (born 19 June 1938) is an Australian actor, television producer and screenwriter. He was born in Melbourne, Australia. He is known for his role as Harold Bishop in the television series Neighbours. He also played Ted Douglas in the television series Prisoner, while also writing and producing some episodes.

In December 2024, it was revealed that Smith was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.[1]
