Ignatios Lappas
Greek priest (1946-2018)
Ignatios Lappas (January 1, 1946 – June 26, 2018) was a Greek Orthodox metropolitan bishop. He was the Metropolis of Larissa and Tyrnavos, in Thessaly, from May 25, 1994, until his death on June 26, 2018.
Lappas died of heart failure in Miami, Florida on June 26, 2018, at the age of 72.[1]
