Indo-Turkic people

Indo-Turks in Turkey or in Turkish: ("Hint asıllı Türkler"), are the descendant of Muslim Indian-Merchant's of the Middle class[1] who's Ancestors once came in weaves from British India arround 1750-1857,[2] especially after the fall of the Mughal Empire like the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and Murree rebellion of 1857, also again from 1876-1924 and settled in the Ottoman Empire and Turkey.[3] There was several Muslim Indian Soldiers and Doctors who went from India to the Ottoman Empire at the time of Balkan Wars and World War I.[4] The most prominent person of them was Abdurrahman Peshawari a Hero in the Turkey's War of Independence.[5]

Indo Turks, today speak Turkish language and fully assimilated in the Turkish culture,[6] but are often mistakenly thought to be Roma people.[7] Indo-Turkic relations traces back to Medival Times.[8]
