International Youth Development Foundation

The International Youth Development Foundation, also known as IYDF, is an international non-governmental organization. The IYDF focuses on providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in developing and low-income countries.[1]

History

IYDF was founded by Nicholas Charles in 2012 in Zurich, Switzerland.[2] The organization launched its dedicated Fund Division in 2014 to scale its support and impact across various regions. IYDF operates in 63 countries, with projects spanning China, Myanmar, Vietnam, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa, Algeria, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Fiji, and the Philippines.

On July 8, 2024, IYDF’s Asia-Pacific Regional Office signed a Regional Cooperation Memorandum with the World Children’s Fund in India, establishing a new framework for regional partnership and expanded outreach.[3] [4]

On September 21, 2024, IYDF, alongside multiple international NGOs, hosted the Asia-Pacific Humanitarian Aid Summit for Underprivileged Children in Singapore.[5]
