Jürgen Marcus
German singer
Jürgen Marcus (Jürgen Beumer, 6 June 1948 – 17 May 2018) was a German schlager singer. He was born in Herne, Germany. He was successful during the 1970s, when he had 14 chart hits in Germany. He was also known for his participation on behalf of Luxembourg in the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest.[1] He retired in 2017.[2]
On May 29, 2018, it was announced by his manager that Marcus died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in May 17, 2018 in Munich.[3]
