Jaroslav Kubera

Jaroslav Kubera (16 February 1947 – 20 January 2020) was a Czech politician. He was a member of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS). At the time of his death, he was the President of the Senate since November 2018. He was Senator from Teplice from 2000 until his death in 2020. He served as mayor of Teplice from 1994 to 2018.
Kubera was born in Louny. He had a small role as Edvard Beneš in historical drama movie Toman, directed by Ondřej Trojan.
Kubera died on 20 January 2020 in Ústí nad Labem. He was 72.[1]
