Spanish cartographer

Jaume Bertran is a cartographer author of three maps The first chart was signed in Barcelona in 1456 and are conserved at the Greenwich Maritime Museum. The other two were signed in Mallorca in 1482 and in 1489, and are conserved at State Archives of Florence, and at Marucelliana Library in Florence

It follows the style of Mallorcan cartography, and the language of the maps is Catalan. The one from Barcelona is the only surviving medieval portolan chart made in this city.[1]
