Jerry Robinson
comic book artist known for his work on the Batman series (1922–2011)
Sherrill David Robinson (January 1, 1922 – December 7, 2011) or Jerry Robinson, was an American comic book artist and writer. He created The Joker and Robin.
Robinson was born on January 1, 1922 in Trenton, New Jersey. He studied at Columbia University. Robinson died on January 7, 2011 from natural causes in his home in Staten Island, New York, aged 89.[1]
