Jim Brogan (footballer)
Scottish footballer (1944-2018)
James Andrew Brogan (5 June 1944 – 24 September 2018) was a Scottish footballer. He played as a left back. He was born in Glasgow. He had success playing for Celtic between 1963 and 1975. He made over 200 league appearances for the club. He won seven league titles in a row, four Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups with Celtic. He also played for the team in the 1970 European Cup Final. He played four games for Scotland. He later played for Coventry City and Ayr United.

Brogan had dementia in his final years. He died on 24 September 2018, at the age of 74.[2]
