Jim Dwyer (journalist)

American journalist (1957-2020)

Jim Dwyer (March 4, 1957 – October 8, 2020) was an American journalist. He was a reporter and columnist with The New York Times, and the author or co-author of six non-fiction books. In 1992 and 1995, he won the Pulitzer Prize.

Dwyer wrote columns for New York Newsday and the New York Daily News before joining the Times. He appeared in the 2012 documentary movie Central Park Five. He was born in New York City.

Dwyer died of lung cancer in New York City on October 8, 2020 at the age of 63.[1]
