Jim Townsend (Irish politician)

James Townsend (20 June 1937 – 7 January 2021) was an Irish Labour Party politician.[1] In 1991, he was elected to Carlow County Council. He was a member of the Seanad Éireann from 1993 to 1997.[2]
Townsend died on 7 January 2021, aged 83.[3]
