John Button
British racing driver (1941-2014)
John Button (27 July 1943 – 12 January 2014) was an English Rallycross driver. He was also the father of 2009 Formula One World Champion Jenson Button. His best overall results were both in 1976. He finished second in the Embassy/RAC-MSA British Rallycross and TEAC/Lydden Rallycross championships that year.[1]

Button was born in London. He died at his home in the south of France on 12 January 2014. It was suspected to be a heart attack. He was aged 70.[2]
