Governor of Delaware since 2017
John Charles Carney Jr.[1] (born May 20, 1956) is an American politician serving as the 74th governor of Delaware since 2017. Before becoming governor, he served as the U.S. representative for Delaware's at-large congressional district from 2011 to 2017. He was also the 24th lieutenant governor of Delaware from 2001 to 2009.[2]
