John Loengard
American photographer
John Borg Loengard (September 5, 1934 – May 24, 2020) was an American photographer.[1] He worked at Life magazine from 1961, and was its picture editor from 1973 to 1987.[2] He taught at the International Center of Photography and at The New School for Social Research. He was born in New York City.
Loengard died on May 24, 2020 in New York City of heart failure, aged 85.[3]
