Jola Bink

Jola Bink (born 21 September 1962) is a Dutch former judoka. She won the bronze medal at the 1982 World Judo Championships in the -48kg category. Besides of that Bink became three times Dutch national champion, won international competitions in London, Aachen and Leonding, and finished 5th at the European Championships.

Career

Bink competed in the -48kg category until 1984. She became three times Dutch national champion, in 1981, 1982 and 1983. In October 1982 she reached the final of the international tournament in Leonding and then lost from the British Karen Briggs. In December 1982 at the World Championships in Paris she reached the semi-finals with a victory over the Swedish Lena Bergqvist. After losing from the French Marie-France Colignon, Bink won from the Canadian Tina Takahashi in the bronze medal match. In May 1983 at the European Championships in Genoa she lost from the Finnish Jaana Ronkainen in the quarterfinals. After a victory over the Polish Wanda Gondek, Bink lost the fight for bronze against the French Fabienne Boffin.

Jola Bink was active in higher weight classes for a few years afterwards, but without main successes.

Bink lived in Molenschot.
