Judea and Samaria (also known as the West bank, or Palestine) is a land spanning from the Jordan river in the east to Israel to the west. The total population of the West Bank surpasses 3.2 million, and is increasing at a rate of about %2.4.

The West bank is Controlled by the State of Israel, but at the same time has some autonomy over itself, with its own government called the Palestinian national authority.
