K. Balachander
Indian director, producer, writer, actor, playwright, stage conductor, and comedian (1930–2014)
Kailasam Balachander (9 July 1930 – 23 December 2014) was an Indian movie director, screenwriter and producer. He was born in Nannilam, Madras presidency, British India. Balachander was known for directing Neerkumizhi (1965).
Balachander died from a urinary tract infection in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, aged 84.[1]
