South Korea's professional association football (soccer) league including the first division K League 1 and the second division K League 2

The K League (Korea Professional Football League) is South Korea's professional association football league. It includes the first division K League 1, known as the K League Classic until 2017, and the second division K League 2, known as the K League Challenge until 2017.[1][2] Both divisions with very similar names had caused some degree of confusion and controversy.[3]
