Kano State

state in Nigeria

Kano is one of the 36 states of Nigeria. The capital is Kano. Kano was created on May 27, 1967, from part of the Northern Region. Kano State shares borders with Katsina State to the northwest, Jigawa State to the northeast, Kaduna State to the southwest, and Bauchi State to the southeast.[5]
