Karen Makishima

Karen Makishima (牧島かれん, Makishima Karen, born November 1, 1976) is a Japanese politician. She is a member of the House of Representatives since 2012. She is the Minister for Digitization in Fumio Kishida's cabinet since October 2021.[1] ​She is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party.

Makishima was born in Yokosuka, Kanagawa.
