Kent Levaughn Harris (October 15, 1930 – April 16, 2019)[1] was an American songwriter and record producer. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Harris was best known as the writer of novelty tunes such as "Shoppin' for Clothes" and "Cops and Robbers".
