Kosi Zone

Koshi was one of the fourteen zones of Nepal.[1] The headquarters and largest city of Koshi Zone was Biratnagar. Other major cities of Koshi Zone were Inaruwa, Dharan, Dhankuta and Itahari. Its main rivers are the Arun, Tamor, and Sapta Koshi. Koshi had six districts. These were Bhojpur, Dhankuta, Morang, Sankhuwasabha, Sunsari and Terhathum.[2]
