Kuta
district in Badung Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia
Kuta is a town in southern Bali, Indonesia. Once it was a fishing village. It was one of the first towns on Bali to become popular with tourists. It is one of Indonesia's major tourist destinations. It has a long sandy beach, and many restaurants and bars. It is near Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport.
On October 12, 2002, a series of bombings killed more than 200 people in Kuta. The bombings happened outside two nightclubs.
