Kwame Raoul

Kwame Raoul (born September 30, 1964) is an American lawyer and politician. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Raoul is the Attorney General-elect of Illinois.

Raoul is a member of the Illinois Senate. He has represented the 13th district since 2004 after he was appointed to fill the seat left by Barack Obama, upon Obama's election to the U.S. Senate.[1]

Raoul was the Democratic Party's nominee for Attorney General of Illinois in the 2018 election and won the general election.[2]
